Hello everyone

This was the first post on the original version of the site.

At the time, I was learning the basics of static-site tooling through Jekyll and trying to understand how little was needed to put writing on the web. The original draft mostly repeated setup steps from another tutorial, so I have trimmed it down here and kept it as an archive marker instead of a live how-to guide.

What still feels true is the spirit of that first post: a blog can begin with very little. A title, a page, a few lines of text, and the willingness to keep going are enough.

The site has moved on from Jekyll, then Hugo, and now Astro, but I wanted to keep a small record of where the blog started.
